English Domestic Season 2023

Ackermann joins Parkinson on a 3 year deal at Durham. Where does that put others in the current squad? Gearing up for first division championship cricket but will have a very large squad if they are not careful.

Quite the player exodus at Leicestershire.
Nixon gone. Callum Parkinson and Ackerman rumoured to be Durham bound. Wright to Surrey.

Wonder who will sign Rehan Ahmed.
Parkinson, Ackermann and Wright were all offered new contracts according to Jarvis (the CEO), .... maybe less money?

his quote:
"As chief exec, I will protect and develop Leicestershire County Cricket Club and that is my number one role, and that's what I'll continue to do, and I've done it from day one."
All-rounder Ackermann and spinner Parkinson have both agreed to join Durham for next season, while experienced seam bowler Wright has signed a two-year contract with Sussex.
"Losing three players of the quality of Callum, Colin and Chris is a bit of a blow to us, but that happens in sport. You've got to bounce back from that," said Jarvis.
"Those players were offered [new] contracts, I've got feedback from them, I've had reasons as to why they want to move on, they told me to my face and you've got to respect that."

Looks like Durham like these balls.

59/0 off 7 overs.

The Parkinson brothers in the same match for the first time since 2019.

Dom Bess plays for Warwickshire now apparently?
That may be good news for Warwickshire; I still think he's got the makings of a decent all-rounder.
And Dan Moriarty's gone from Surrey to Yorkshire, on loan, I think. Which is a bit of a shame, as I think we could use his left-arm spin now the pitches are drying out.

My second favourite player is Bess. I think as well as his bowling he has a good batting technique

you probably won’t read this sadly as you have me on ignore . Another one who hates me
