I just think Ireland haven't got their team combinations right ..They can include an extra batsman easily if they are finding the conditions tough cause Mcbrine , Stirling , Campher and Dockrell all bowl and they bat in the top 7 ..Kinda reminds me of the old Sri Lanka side of the 2000's when almost everyone could bowl .

They have today, he's just batting 8 because Dockrell, Campher etc are deemed better than him. Wouldn't surprise me if Delany didn't bowl at all.

An argument to be made that playing three tests this year was a waste of their time as ultimately its the shorter formats is where they can have success and what people care about. I think they cancelled an ODI series v Sri Lanka in favor of an extra test and obviously the battering from England not ideal preparation for this.

The bowling is poor, they need to figure out what exactly is the role of Delany also, if he can't bat in the top 6 then bin as his bowling is trash.

Stirling is aging but they have got Harry Tector and Tucker who are really good. With them Campher and Dockrell they are a good batting side and Josh Little is a good bowler esp if the conditions are right. Got a pretty good team to cause few troubles but I agree they need more venom in their bowling attack.
