*Official* First Test (Edgbaston, Birmingham) 16–20 June

G. S. Kohli

International Vice-Captain
What an embarassing failure for Smith and Marnus this game. If Aus manage to win without either doing anything it would be seriously concerning for England heading to the rest of the series
Anderson only take wicket under overcast condition,

What is Archer's Up-date?

( Bumrah will be back on Aug 31-sep 17 for 18 days 50/50 series, also Shreyas back on Aug/sep & Pant desire to play World cup)

The Aus score in the first innings was the first time since like 2018 they passed 300 without at least one of those two and/ or Warner making 50 or more.

Which is great because it means the team is developing and some either guys stepped up to put together a competitive total for a change.

Aren't Khawaja, Head and Carey all 30+?

Sure but I'm just saying it's a positive thing they put together a decent score for a change with their three most established players not contributing, albeit Warner is pretty much shot to bits these days.

Yeah but its kinda scary he is still your second best opener even in these conditions.

Actually, I think Australia may well run into a India 2011 problem. On paper, you would have like your ATG side out (or close to it) but form and fitness concerns means the best of them are already beyond their prime.
