*Official* First Test (Edgbaston, Birmingham) 16–20 June

Another exhilarating day.

The Aussies were on top for much of it but that was a great last session for England - getting rid of Labuschagne and Smith.

Much will depend on the weather, will it be cloudy. If so 174 more runs is alot.

The morning potentially raining then 174 in two sessions on this pitch which is going big with spin will be a really hard chase

mind if the Aussies do it, well played them

My last one today

if England dismiss Khawaja within the first hour of play, then I think they will win

If he bats for three hours it’s Australia with the 1-0 lead

England clear favorites here.

Smith had to bat atleast till lunch tomorrow, most Aussie fans would agree with that.

Cracking game tomorrow!

All England need is one early wicket I reckon. All aus need is like one 50 plus partnership to put the pressure back on Englands bowlers with Moen struggling to bowl. Plus all their main batters below smith scored decent their 1st innings

Whoever loses their captain is going to cop it non stop firstly stokes with the early declaration or Cummins with the negative field sets and allowing Englands tail to add like another 60 runs.

Still feel England need Khwaja badly early
Well they would like to get all of them

Head is the biggest wicket for England tomorrow. 174 is not a lot and if Head bat's for an hour, that gets to double figures and then two decent partnerships between whomever left with Green and Carey and you are almost there. Wicket is good to bat and Moeen can't bowl so all depends on the overhead conditions
