*Official* First Test (Edgbaston, Birmingham) 16–20 June

Kenneth Viljoen

International Debutant
If there is play tomorrow, Usman Khawaja will become the 13th batsman in Test Cricket History to bat all 5 days of a Test Match . Just the third player to do it in an Ashes Test after Sir Geoffrey Boycott in 1977 at Trent Bridge , and Kim Hughes at Lords in 1980.
Unbelievable achievement 👏

The weather forecast for tomorrow looks horrible.

If it's even close to being correct, it's hard to see there being enough time for Australia to score another 174 runs. And there shouldn't be time for England to claim another 7 wickets, but maybe one good session might do it if the balls moving about in between the showers,

It certainly would be, and fair play to him. If I may be pedantic, Lord's in 1980 wasn't an Ashes test, so Khawaja would be the first Australian to do that.
