Kohli in LOIs reminds me of Cronje who built this super efficient team that would break down at key moments in tournaments.
Kohli in LOIs in bilaterals was ruthless.

classic case of the results determining our outlook of what makes a good captain imo
just as 8-0 doesn't make him a bad captain (i'm putting that RP Singh call up on the selectors), dominating at home with a really strong team for those conditions doesn't make him a great one.
i think he was fine overall in tests, despite the few games he let slip overseas.
excellent LO captain though - master of damage control with limited resources.
