Nope. The WC you're referring to is changed formats but not competition. The first ICC World Test Championship began in 2019. The previous, now defunct tournament (which Eng won once and Aus 9 or 10 times) was the ICC test championship or just the test rankings. Not even considered a world tournament.

It is on both counts. But not the same competition. The one that began in 2019 is called the ICC World Test Championship. The previous defunct one never was called a world championship.
