The greatest sporting and cricketing nation in history adds another trophy to its burgeoning cabinet.

Also, **** off Shubman Gill. Apparently the only batsman in cricket history to cop a decision they didn’t agree with. Best head to the socials for a proper wah. You over rated pin head. You average 34 after 15 tests you ****ing spud. Closer to Graeme Wood than Tendulkar. The **** is wrong with you.
He's literally shagging Tendulkar, can't get any closer

Whatever it takes!!!
Congrats to Australia and all Aussie fans here. I have had my misgivings about the format of the WTC itself and esp. the finals but Australia completely outplayed us inspite of losing the toss which can be a major advantage in these conditions. They also deserve as I feel their result against Pak was perhaps one of the best Aussie wins away from home in my time of watching cricket.

There are many faults that can be found with how we played this game, esp. with Rohit's captaincy, but at the end of the day, its clear BCCI didn't give a damn about this WTC and it shows. I mean, BCCI do many morally wrong things but one morally wrong thing I would have been happy to see them do would have been to throw their weight around and get this game moved to a later date and get a warm up game or two going for India. Pant's injury could not have come at a worse time for us.

The sucky part is how much we suck at white ball cricket too, inspite of the very clear prioritization of that format by the BCCI. I wish they learned something from CSK and actually put the cricket stuff first.

I mean the format is a complete joke. It's kind of neat to get a neutral venue exhibition match between two of the best teams in the world every now and then but it really shouldn't be considered as any more than that. It has as much meaning and context as any other individual Test match has between two high quality sides and that's it. It is nice for the players to get tangible reward for effort though.

Congrats to the cheats, they did it quite easily really so it was thoroughly deserved.
3rd time lucky perhaps next time for India when they hopefully have guys like Bumrah and Pant fit and firing again.
