*Official* World Test Championship Final at The Oval – June 7–11, 2023

The light at 10:30 to 11 is exactly the same. Nothing to stop them making up time at the start of the day and end of the day too.

Normally tests in England in Ashes go into August when the light has started to go other way. As the longest day is the 21st June.

So by 630-7pm which games have been known to go and even after 7 the light isn't as good then.
Yeah Pomgolia is a long way north from the equator/close to the n pole for a cricketing country. London is 51 N (southern equivalent is Patagonia which is below NZ), so theoretically the Oval should have long summer nights.

For as long as Harris is the heir to the throne I'm happy for Warner to keep playing as long as he wants tbh.
Yeah there's not much doubt he's a shot duck and he could well go next ball, but he hasn't really done much wrong this dig thus far. He's played late (though been on the crease a lot) and apart from the one top edge to the short wide one which he was right to have a crack at, he's been compact and played reasonably straight. Still a moderate upgrade on Harris.

Tim Ward the inevitable replacement when Warner retires, assuming Wardy makes runs the first half of the summer.

Great wicket delivered by the English hosts, did Rishi Sunak spit in its mouth or something to make it so agitated?

Siraj with one leaping off a full length once again demonstrating it's clearly only ever swing and never anything off the pitch in England which causes problems.
About as awkward as anything at Brisbane vs SA, if not moreso.

Oh look Harsha is in the commentary box as well.

Wake me up when something insightful gets uttered by any three of the lightweights in the comm box

I see they’re letting Langer out of the basement where he keeps all the pictures of Pat Cummins with his eyes cut out.
