Battrick

Cricketer Of The Year
Splashed out on a stadium megabuild only to run headfirst into a 6 match losing streak. Thankfully we have to bot games up next in the OD league to save morale

I just trained and sold players for a decade. Could've made more if I'd paid more attention I guess.

I really like Battrick and never wanted to lose my teams and records so just logged once a week until I got the itch again. With there being a bit more Dev stuff going on recently I figured I'd have another crack. Some dude bid me off a phenomenal-elite 23yo bat with a nice wage by bidding over 10.5m haha. Seems like an upturn in the market rn.

I think 7m is a good price to target for specialists. Try not to go too far above that and I think you're golden.

Depends on the age it seems. I'm looking for younger guys so I can hold them for a while as opposed to those ones closer to 30. I know plops happen later now so players last much longer though. I won't be promoted this season so will be patient and hope to get good deals in the off-season when people are forced to sell.

You've got these 3 guys on the market right now.

1. Duane Moyo shortcut £5,414,000 (Liberty Place)
Plays for: Bluebell hill village CCStamina:superb*Wicket Keeping:worthless

2. Stewart Early shortcut £2,255,000 (The Mullets)
Plays for: Mad MickstersStamina:superb*Wicket Keeping:worthless
Age: 26 years oldBatting:masterfulConcentration:exquisite
BT Rating: 101,050Bowling:worthlessConsistency:feeble
Deadline: 20/06/2023 09:24Fielding:quality

3. Carl Bewers shortcut £2,166,000 (Hawarden Rangers)
Plays for: CKSAllRoundsStamina:mediocreWicket Keeping:woeful
Age: 24 years oldBatting:masterfulConcentration:masterful
BT Rating: 99,283Bowling:mediocreConsistency:abysmal
Deadline: 20/06/2023 13:48Fielding:feeble

I'm guessing Moyo will go for about 6 to 7 mil. Early is a bit older than what you were looking for but just by a year or so. Bewers is actually better than the other two but he needs a stamina net.

Maybe you can go after one of these guys, but you'd have to be alert close to when the deal is going down. Someone always waits until the last minute to throw in a cheeky bid and get the player.

Don't worry mate I don't need the help watching the market - got more shortcuts than you can count at the moment and been playing BT and the market for close to 20 years.

Up against the Robot Koalas in FC today.

I'm probably getting relegated from this FC league - I haven't got enough points despite getting decent results.

Some chaotic running by your boys today. I decided to save our gun allrounder Salahuddin Hossains' fitness for the SOD match and so he's not bowling, and at 267/3 with 51 overs to go it seemed like you guys would salvage the draw. Now we should wrap this chase up easily

Yeah, I lost my best bat due to a runout I think. However, it's my comparatively weak bowling that has cost me on the whole. Three of them have one more season of training to go and I think we'll be fine after that, but until then we're a bit toothless with the ball.
