They shouldn't have to qualify , World Cup should comprise of all the test nations, and then a qualifying tournament for the best associate teams with all the technology available...

I tend to agree. However the reason they stopped it I believe was there were too many mismatches. Like half the matches were minnow v good team and were thrashings.

This lead to the 2019 fixture which was definitely a much tighter and more competitive tournament.

Think one of WI or SL will miss out. One thing for sure that Ireland tends to come hard at WCs. Also not ruling out Zimbabwe here. Home advantage and all. Its a spicy tournament but shame about broadcasting
