Michael Neser

International Regular
S
hazlewood is done career wise, same with jhye richardson - at test level at least. BBL/IPL type career is only possible.

Neser surely should play from game 1, we could single handedly win the ashes with that kind of swing bowling- with Pat of course.

also jimmy anderson unfit again, odds on Poms victory dropping cos of injuries to three top bowlers- Anderson, Archer and Ollie Stone(who bowls up to 145kph). England will have to rally on backup pacers Mark Wood and recently returned from injury Chris Woakes to complement Ollie Robinson and Broad for the 5 test series, Anderson is 41 by the end of the ashes, cant see him continuing for much longer.

Stone capable of bowling a lot quicker than that on the rare occasions he actually plays

lmao at calling ****ing Mark Wood a backup pacer to Stone
If Mark Wood (or indeed Ollie Stone) leads England's attack as opposed to being a support bowler, you can ink in even more of a smashing than I've been predicting for the past 12 months.

Anyway, back to Neser. He takes one hatrick (which included two batsmen who inexplicably decided to leave inswingers) and he's winning Australia the Ashes?

He's taken 16 wickets in 4 matches in Div 2 at 25.4. To put in perspective, Potts has 24 at 22.5 (won't play for England) in his 4 whilst Robinson has 15 at 13.2. Neser is still not even the best bowler at Glamorgan whilst McAndrew (who Sussex should never have dropped for that useless Smith fella) has the best average by an Aussie bowler in the division.

And as for Boland, has he ever even seen a Dukes ball? One injury to Cummins and this series is done and dusted.

I love Div 2 Cricket, it's leaving the Aussies hopelessly confused and leaving their best batsman scratching around trying to buy a run.

Boland and Potts are basically mirror images of each other and should cancel perfectly.
Boland is a finished version of Potts who still thinks he’s quick enough to blast out test bats

He ain’t

Has all the tools so potential is there

I know you’re trying to convince yourself england will make a contest of this despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary, but Neser won’t get a game. That’s the whole point. He’s too good for you guys but is 5th or 6th in line for us. Also, Boland has seen the Duke ball - they use them in the Shield here for a few rounds each summer and have for a while. It’s part of the thorough preparation which will see us destroy you lot.

Well that's good to know about the Dukes, now all Boland has got to do is get used to being in a different country.

I'm not sure Neser is 5th or 6th. If Hazlewood is not fit, then Neser surely becomes 4th. Given Boland has no experience in England and Starc has not generally been that great here, I'd say he could even be above them.

And ends his stint with a ton to boot. Fringe Aus player Marcus Harris also a hundred on the weekend along with Labushagne and Smith with 90 odd. Dermo Sabba Abbott among the runs and wickets as well while englands troops keep falling by the way side.

It’s just a tsunami of bad news for England with the series approaching as they and their fans come to realise all hope is gone and only the weather can save them from a whitewash. Sad.

Neser's batting average now double his bowling average (311 runs @ 51.83 and 19 wkts @ 25.63)

If Neser can't get in the squad as back-up pacer then he should replace Marsh as back-up all-rounder
