Get jitesh in their aswell. Man slot's in at 5 and takes the gloves in the t20I team straight away. It won't happen but i'de love to see a batting lineup of

3.Kohli
4.Sky
5.Jitesh
6.Hardik
7.Jadeja
8.Jadeja
Is axar a good enough spinner in t20I to act as the main spinner at 8 with jadeja as the second option, 3 pacers + hardik in sena conditions and another spinner over one pacer in SC or do you need a chahal esque player as your main spinner?

jitesh is not convincing enough yet
tilak has been good for 2 seasons now. maybe another year before jitesh is considered

Who keeps if you play tilak over jitesh? Pant isn't fit atm and DK can't buy a run, and there's a million better opening options then rahul. Him and kohli in the same top 3 doesn't work.

Caught the last 5 overs of that game, don't have word's to describe some of the shot's sky played in that innings. I've seen smith play the occasional outrageous shot like when he ran down the track and managed to get down on one knee a few steps down and hit a ball on the other side of the pitch to him for 6 over extra cover, but that was a once off thing. Sky plays those kind of shots so often that it almost feels orthodox.

How does putting 3 anchor openers in the middle order and having hardik as the 5th bowler resolve India's tuk-tuk issues and lack of a genuine 6th bowler?

this is for odi wc this year
also tilak and jaiswal are part time bowlers so we have 7 bowling options
rohit is near the end of his career and is still very good at smashing spinners. that is what his role should be

Realistically though, we will have Rohit at the top, so best we can hope is Tilak alone as the 6th bowler/ #4 batsman. Adds much needed variety of left handed batsman as well.
