lawyer sponsors of the dragons HWL Ebsworth were hit with an in and around a hundred million dollar judgment earlier this year so it's no wonder they're sponsoring the dragons ngl

only club more fitting would've been the nathan tinkler knights

i get that wighton's good mates with trell or whatever but he's a much worse player than cody walker while being a significantly bigger dickhead

haha you sure about that? I would take Wighton as a footballer all day over Walker - and I would think they’re pretty comparable as blokes (not great)

ehhhh i don't rate wighton at all really - i note that walker (albeit with a pretty loaded spine elsewhere i admit) has produced at a high standard, even having a deadweight ilias as his halves partner while wighton needs a dominant halfback to do well. which isn't a knock, really, a lot of good FEs need to have a halfback who compliments them - wighton won't get that in ilias

Haha I don’t think Ilias is that bad tbh - he’s been pretty good this year. The way I look at it is who’s the better big moment player - it’s wighton all day. 1x clive, 1x dally m, I know who I’m taking

Ps **** that’s heartbreaking for my saints

Brave effort from the lads. Just literally ran out of players and big ones, while Melbourne had a lot of class still on the field.

Melbourne deserved winners even with the knock on try and their reluctance to fund their development programme (NZ schoolboys rugby union).

Will be very hard for us to back up against the panthers and roosters after this injury list. Hoping for skill and character during this pain and a solid finish to the season after. Next season should be our top 4 run. This year is for making the 8.

They can play Walker at HB and Wighton at 5/8. Or if they want to get all 3 in the side then keep Illias and Walker and move Wighton to centre. Which could be a thing if Graham is moved on to fit Wighton in the cap. Personally I'd never have let go of Reynolds (though he's just the right player for the Broncos) and brought Illias on in much the same way Storm bring on their young players. Illias is a good defender and could've been used as a small forward/dummy half type of player in a side still containing Reynolds.

He's been slow to develop but he's never going to call the plays as long as Walker is there and I don't think Souths can be too unhappy with his progress. Though I wonder what he thinks about the Wighton deal and you'd understand if he thought it a vote of no confidence in him. I hope they find the combination to keep playing him.

It's a concern that Souths are accumulating a list of big heads though Wighton has significantly improved his image. Either way it gives Souths options for next year at least. And the Raiders can now chase some talent with the freeing up of their cap.

can't believe some people said they'd pick to keep Carrigan over Haas if it came down to it. Last night showed exactly why Haas is comfortably the best big man in the game

Torrential conditions was the perfect ingredient for a Tigers upset, and Apisai came back to haunt his old team mates.
They look to have a new star in fullback Jahream Bula, what an incredible match he had for only his 2nd NRL appearance.

Yeah they’re not winning anything. Will fade out as usual. Can’t play south of the tweed come the back end
To be fair, they should go well through the regular season with a week off between games every week. Shows how bad they were when they couldn't win a game.

I mean after that blatant shoulder charge uncalled how can you call this competition anything other than soft fixed in favour of the right clubs?

Maybe the roosters gave the bunker a nice Sombrero
