Three fifths of Namibia's bowling attack are injured. This isn't a surprise given the squad they could select.
Their first choice bowlers have actually done great in most of their games as well. Tiny player pool means the depth is shot once they have a few outs. A shame because they'd be much more likely to be competitive against the full members at full strength than the USA.

They are in danger of loosing ODI status for next 4 year << media report says that but i think if they win tomorrow or so vs canada they may not loose their status with 6 point.

Yeah. Shikongo has gone well (at least until the UAE game). Even ya France hasn't been too bad. But Smit and Frylinck are two very useful batting options as well.

Yep, Wiese too. Losing them has not just meant losing their bowlers, it's meant losing their middle order as well.

It'll be incredibly tough on Namibia (i) not to qualify and (ii) to lose ODI status because firstly Nepal were able to select Lamichhane and secondly because they lost multiple of their best players all at the same time.

Yes, everything that can go bad has gone bad for them.

I feel bad for Erasmus. He has been a shining light and lone warrior.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised by how some of the fill-ins have gone at times. Shaun Fouche I wasn't expecting much from, and he's done better than expected... Zane Green probably the weakest link so far. But then, Trumpelmann and Shikongo both had a poor game at the same time vs. UAE. I guess that they've had a run of bad luck which, to some extent, should have been offset by home advantage but strength-in-depth is always a weakness in Associate cricket.

PNB's of the tournament against Canada will also be their last ODI for at least four years. Conversely the three-figure margin of victory puts the USA in a particularly strong position at the top of the table, with a net run rate of +.89

Namibia's ODI status isn't under threat and neither is the USA's.

Confusing, I know but for Canada or Jersey to advance to WCL2 for the next cycle and secure theirs, they need to finish above the UAE or PNG. From what I understand, Canada takes PNG's and Jersey will most likely go back to tier 3.

Rumour has it that the ICC might dish out a couple more ODI spots for the next cycle though so maybe all is not lost for PNG.

USA and UAE with final matches against Jersey have their best chance to qualify. Namibia's match is slightly tougher with Canada also having a good chance to qualify.

Word is the first tie-breaker if points are even will be head-to-head rather than NRR which is ludicrous but very on brand.

No playing conditions have been officially published for the tournament, so just like the last women's World Cup qualifier, this might change if one of the more favoured teams falls short. I still can't get over how they changed the playing conditions more than half way through that qualifier.
