You all forgot nzfan's analysis, since Ravindra is facing international bowlers he'll average 80 at 210 strike rate.

I seriously can't believe they picked an allrounder who opens the batting and averages 15 in T20 to bat seven and not bowl. What's the point? Even Nicholls probably would have been a better selection.

Neeshaw really should be a gun T20 Cricket but he's just slightly below par in both disciplines. He's one of the most explosive hitters in the world but he's more often than not just gonna give you a 20(10) which isn't good enough for a #6 most days and his bowling is too hittable to be a 5th bowler so you can't really fit him at #7 without having someone else who can bat 1-6 and act as a 5th bowler.
If NZ are gonna play neesh I think there better off just ripping off the Australia formula and playing him at 7 with 1/2 other guys in the top 6 who can bowl. Pick your 4 best bowlers, bat to 7 and hope you can find 4-6 overs a game between the 6th bowlers.
