Excited to see how Mumbai go this season. Reckon there best bet is to just stack the batting, go guns a blazing and hope jofra can defend the totals. Bowling looks pretty weak with 3 overseas options basically locked fit batting and bumrah out injured. No domestic bowlers stand out bar mulani and even he's an allrounder who's done well in red ball more than a Whiteball prospect atm.

Don't know how they fit brevis with Stubbs and David available plus so much money spent on green. Don't know why they bid so much on green tbh, they have a gun indian top 4, a #7 like Curran would have rounded out the side alot better b

Whatever it takes!!!
I just feel IPL has become boring with 10 teams. Coz its no longer a proper equal tournament the way it was with 8 teams, each playing each other home and away and top 4 qualifying. It was perfect but of course, like most things, Sourav had to ruin it. :@

Aren't they raking in more moolah with the 10 teams vs the 8?

I presume it's still just one match a day? Means there's going to be long breaks for teams between some matches. Two whole months of this ****....two weeks of interest at the start, 4 weeks of tedious repetition, 1 week of 'who makes the knockouts', 1 week of the good stuff. That middle section is going to be tough going.....

Yeah.. when it was 8 teams, it actually felt like the IPL was elite. Every time we have had more than 8, it has just felt less than that. They are really overdoing the whole thing. Not everyone is interested in watching cricket every night just because its there. The context and the actual fan engagement matters.

That's a valid point too. The more you dilute it, the less quality you have, and yet we get more matches too. But as long as it makes money...

I’m assuming the fact they rake more in suggests they do though…
