*Official* World Test Championship Final at The Oval – June 7–11, 2023

WC Finals should be a series of 3 ODIs
In ODI WC , both teams have already played in the host country for atleast 1 month. So they have already adjusted to the conditions before final .

Whereas in WTC final , One team needs atleast few warm up matches before getting ready for the finals.

So either make it a 3 match series or give both sides atleast 1 warm up game before finals.

Presumably they have the optional 6th day as reserve as in 2021.

Anyway, surely Australia massive favourites in English conditions considering India were no match for NZ there in 2021, and lost to England there last year.

Incidentally is it confirmed that all Test championship finals will be in England? If so that's really stupid and frankly unfair on SC teams.

There'll be lots of hype from now up until the match, but there's a very good chance it may well be an anti climax, but let's hope not.

I don't see how India bowls Australia out for a reasonable total without Bumrah and with aging Shami and Yadav.

Australia are odds on favourites tbh and they would be rearing to go ahead of the Ashes. Plus only two of their test players are playing in the IPL, whereas the entire Indian team is playing in it and may burn themselves out, with the final being just 9 days before the WTC Final.

I give-
Aus 60%
India 20%
Draw 20%

I think there should be warm up matches before the final in England but the warm up matches should be against the teams that finished 3rd and 4th in the World Test Championship ...So for example Australia would face Sri Lanka, and India would face South Africa both in England , preferably a two test series
