Quite often NZ commentators seem very uninformed on these things I must say ...Are we going to play until 7.30 to get the overs in, or what? Commentators seem certain we'll see 99 more balls.

This is what I was talking about with the Mt Maunganui test 2 years ago. Day 3 was an 11am start and 7:30 finish, so 1.5 hours beyond scheduled close of play. Until then I had always thought it was an hour max.Are we going to play until 7.30 to get the overs in, or what? Commentators seem certain we'll see 99 more balls.
just for youCricinfo comms frozen at 169/3, or is that just for me?
Yeah it froze but back to normal now. Hence the nickname crapinfo.Cricinfo comms frozen at 169/3, or is that just for me?
They just apologised for it, I like the idea that it was a personal apology to mejust for you
NZ have been brave enough to go for the target and in the process giving SL some chances, which is quite natural.Haven’t been able to watch much of this innings due to work, but the commentary makes it seem like we’ve been extremely lucky. Is that fair?
Yeah but you're lucky if they drop catches.NZ have been brave enough to go for the target and in the process giving SL some chances, which is quite natural.
Lucky, yes. But it would be unfair to coin it "extremely lucky".Yeah but you're lucky if they drop catches.
