Most of the plays and misses Lyon caused were on the outside edge from around the wicket. There’s a bit more in it now but early on it was flat as a tack

God it’s horrendous when commentators propose teams do things which they would never have contemplated themselves. Shastri suggesting India declare behind in a decider when they’re 2-1 up “to open up the game” is the sort of crap that’s so ridiculous he should be euthanised for uttering it

I don't think Aus are out of it and they don't have to do anything mad. They can get a chunky lead, say 80if they take another half a day to get the remaining poles, and then bat for 2 sessions to set up about 280 by mid morning on day 5. Or crumble late tomorrow with the bat to let India back in it.
