Well that's fair. But imo there's definitely an undercurrent of "let's go point and laugh at those losers" whenever that happens which is just cruel. It's a forum wide menace. People enjoy and encourage the Skyliners of other nations whilst jeering their own.
My own particular brand of PP schaudenfreude is much less to do with "let's go point at those losers", and much more focussed on its highly toxic posting culture of personal insults and nationalistic chest-thumping that is de rigueur there.

People don't hate Skyliner because he's a misery vampire, they hate him because he runs away the second we're ahead in the match. It's a really **** gimmick.

I see young Blair Tickner's first three overs only gave away five runs but then his next three yielded 31. A little unlucky (two boundaries were edges)?

Probably just clutching at straws for any positives amongst the under-30s crowd.

PP is also probably the second best place for new cricket memes too. Though r/cricket seems to be forming a culture of its own

Darwin Award

U19 Cricketer
Mendis well & truly in the running for the fastest century by a Sri Lankan.

Currently it's held by Jayawardene- 81 balls against Bangladesh.
