Wild heaves from Gill and Siraj, ugh ?

Poor captaincy to send Axar at 9. Wtf were they thinking?

And if he had gotten 200+ then what? He's perfectly confident? Hate this dumb idea that we're all perfect mind readers.
Like I said, probably me drawing conclusions based on superficial things, but he just carried with him this ****y demeanour I don't see in Gill, Rohit etc. Virat has it but he's earned it(or at least had earned it)

I imagine Australia should win this now, but not smugly. I am quite prepared that I might be experiencing that awful laughter you do when your team ****s up a certain win monumentally.
If there ever was a pitch to defend a record low score, this is it.

Kohli does not deserve a place on merit. It’s really that simple. There are other players who I would back to score more runs in the next Test and that’s honestly the only consideration that should matter. It’s three years! It’s not like he hasn’t had chances. There is no reason to feel hard done by if ion get dropped after doing badly for three years. The only people who should feel bad are those in domestic cricket scoring loads of runs because they’re legitimately feeling that this is not fair.
I always took him as a cricketer of pride who wouldnt just sit in the team if he couldnt perform. He should take a break and return when he knows he can perform.

Gill literally played like Siraj and Rohit wasn't too far off in the 1st innings. Don't confuse nonsense with reality here please.

Umesh deserves a bit of heat for his as well.
Umesh biffed a few in the first innings and has previous form with scoring some runs at least. Nearly got that one away for six as well.

Siraj is a complete bunny and should only ever play a defensive shot. Reminded me of Shannon Gabriel vs Yasir Shah.

Axar's bowling is a bit of a concern. He's bowled less than half the overs of the other two but just 1 wicket @ 103 against this Australian lineup is really poor.
Really needs the lacquer on the new ball to be a threat but he's never getting it with the other two guys. No excuse of course, he's a spinner; the old ball has to be his thing.
