Only way to turn around things now for Bracewell is if he can pick 3 wickets from now and win the test match. For a starter maybe get Root and then Stokes. He can happily play for another year or so in test cricket and retire.

In theory a 170 run 6th wicket partnership to win in the 4th innings should be somewhat unusual. It’s not even on the podium of our bad beats by this particular opponent in the last 12 months.
