We have a transformation policy , in SA cricket you have to read between the lines ..
But Tony De Zorzi is classed as a black african batsmen and he isn't a wicket keeper batsmen like mentioned and nor is Temba.

Qeshile will be selected for the Proteas whether he keeps wicket or not for the Proteas in future , there have been times hes played as a batsman for the Warriors and Breetzke has donned the gloves or a Rudi Second when he was playing ..
Its not uncommon for SA cricketers to give up keeping , happened to Ryan Rickleton for example when he played for the Proteas as a batsman only

It is clearly not talking about the position he was clearly talking about having players of colour that can hopefully fulfill the current quota, particularly from a batting point of view. As much has also been mentioned regards de Zorzi. And the conversation around Qeshile goes back 5 years.

To change tact for a bit, I just hope Newlands has some decent generators for tomorrows game. I remember them on at a SA20 game. Newlands area is going out at 8pm for 4 hours 
. It would be beyond cruel for the ladies to get knocked out because of it. I still think ESKOM should have the bajeebers sued out of them, but thats for a different thread I guess

no he didn't, he only played a t20 for Australia before his fc debut. his test was 2 years later
