Its always the second and third season that becomes telling. But he does look good. I like to see Qeshile with the gloves again and scoring some runs. I know some believe it might be better if he concentrated on his batting, but think he has excellent glove work and think that the other wicket keeper batsmen may be better at being pure batsmen. (Rickelton, Verreyenne etc..)Jordan Hermann impressing yet again in the domestic circuit, 70 off 90 opening the batting against the Lions in the 4 day game..Decent attack too Mulder , Rabada , Sipamla , Fortuin , Siboto
He is looking good.... and is also a genuine bowling allrounder. Be great to have at 8/9.Gerald Coetzee got his first 5-for in Redball cricket for the Knights v Dolphins , just in time for the test series
There are a lot of fast bowlers who around the same level as himBaartman also looking impressive, he's made an SA test squad before , and he had a really good SA T20, bowled with decent pace in the 140's ..Bit of a late bloomer , would be adding him to the odi squad if the ipl stars leave during the Netherlands series
A player of color that averages sub 25 in all three formats and bowls 140+ ? Definitely not anyone that hasn't already played for South Africa , in the SA T20 he finished in the top 10 wicket takers list despite only playing 7 games ..definitely worth a look inThere are a lot of fast bowlers who around the same level as him
He wasn't very good in the SA20, wickets aren't everything, he didn't even start every gameA player of color that averages sub 25 in all three formats and bowls 140+ ? I thought he was good , good pace , good outswinger , and I've watched him live in 4 day cricket , besides add your own points instead of just going after mine with flippant commentsHe wasn't very good in the SA20, wickets aren't everything, he didn't even start every game
He's not very consistent in FC cricket, he has 4 4-fers, a 5-fer and a 10-fer in 58 innings but he only takes 1.67 wickets per innings. One day cricket is his best format.I thought he was good , good pace , good outswinger , and I've watched him live in 4 day cricket , besides add your own points instead of just going after mine with flippant comments
oh no we have another stathead who lives by the numbers in this placeHe's not very consistent in FC cricket, he has 4 4-fers, a 5-fer and a 10-fer in 58 innings but he only takes 1.67 wickets per innings. One day cricket is his best format.

I doubt he is at full pace... might seem like bad sportsmanship but he has a Test to get through in a few day's, not gonna burn himself out.Not a great sign that Rabada is 0/79 in 22 overs on his return to red ball cricket
bokaki also decent fastieJordan Hermann impressing yet again in the domestic circuit, 70 off 90 opening the batting against the Lions in the 4 day game..Decent attack too Mulder , Rabada , Sipamla , Fortuin , Siboto
Why ones a top 4 batter and other is midorder wicky? thats like saying you see tony de zorzi as a bavuma replacement.Qeshile with his second FC hundred , think his FC average is in the high 30's now , good for SA cricket if he can push on ,I see him as the replacement for Bavuma in the Test side one day.
Some bowlers just need a lot of overs to get cobwebs off and then they produce when it matters. Not a great sign that Rabada is 0/79 in 22 overs on his return to red ball cricket
Stats without watching or in context can be used in anyway to suit an agenda, we have a token sharks rugby fan on a certain blog who uses his own stats for his agenda and also against anyone but sharks lols.oh no we have another stathead who lives by the numbers in this place
