The thing I don't get about Cummins dismissal is that he's largely a defensive batsman and him hanging around for an hour while Carey attacked.

Slogging from ball one was just a total mental lapse.

Probably didn’t help that Cummins had luck in the first innings slogging while him defending has been largely disastrous.

still though, this is a wicket where even 150 might be defensible. Staying out there and scraping another 50 was still a viable option.
