How does the physical features of one being a factor as long as he is a good cricketer? If he can field as good as Ashwin, it doesn't matter how fat he is.

He feasted on a terrible Assam attack and failed against everyone else. Has 500 odd runs this Ranji trophy in 10 innings out of which 379 is against hapless Assam. Assam gave a bucketful of runs against other teams too. They get in with their main bowler as Riyan ****ing Parag.

1. It's not really getting dropped if you were only selected as an injury replacement.
2. He really didn't go close to justifying a Test spot six years ago. He doesn't even really justify one now.

He never deserved to be selected in the first place!

He has failed repeatedly in the ODIs he has played and his technique has looked suspect. Moreover his FC record is pretty mediocre! A true galaxy brain selection! Let him prove himself in ODIs first at the bare minimum. And he needs to learn to consistently play innings that are longer than mere 40-50 balls!

Yes, India right now has 2 free wickets in the middle for Australia to take in Kohli and SKY. Having a wee bit of faith in Pujara after his double in the previous series. Iyer coming back for SKY is huge with Pant not in there. If Gill too gets in for Rahul tomorrow, India will finally have a top order to go with the lower order muscle.

Let's hope that Rahul scores his usual 20 odd and not much more so that he can be booted out from 3rd Test. Because he will definitely play tomorrow! They won't drop him after just 1 innings in the series.

Correct. Sarafaraz has got the Pujara treatment. Pujara had scored mountains of runs before getting picked, and he should've been in the team much earlier. Hopefully he gets an opportunity. He should've been picked ahead of SKY and even KeLa Rahul.

He runs well and is a decent outfielder. Not saying he can be lax about fitness, but if he is match ready he should play
