There is also, you know, the actual fact that the pitch played fine.
Forget about what may have happened. I am still asking if you believe that if is appropriate to prepare one half of a pitch a different way than another half based solely on the composition of the opposing team?

I won’t argue whether that happened here or not. But in principle, do you find that it’s against the spirit of fair play to do that, or do you think it’s fair?

Today showed why its so difficult for visiting sides in India.

Firstly the opposition always pick players for the conditions rather than their best players. Australia dropped Head and played only 2 seamers. I'm not saying that's wrong, but it unbalances the side before you start - straight away you're saying some of our best players can't play in India. How does that impact the rest of the team.
That's where Stokes is better.

He didn't change his usual XI in Pak. But there were tactical changes within the same XI.
e.g; in 1st Test: Jimmy didn't open bowling in 2nd dig. In other tests, he used Robinson - a swing bowler - as an enforcer.

Subjectively it seems odd to me mostly because I don't think anyone is used to it, objectively there is nothing wrong with it and I think anyone will struggle to prove otherwise.

I don't think these numbers tell a clear story here. For example, Australia's spinners were apparently getting more turn than India's. Average turn doesn't really matter also. Surely if nothing is turning for five balls and then one rips hugely then that is enough to put massive doubt into the batsmen's minds. Or if it is turning a bit but bouncing loads, etc.

just like how you didn't respond to my point earlier about you know **** all about pitch preparation and are only looking for some reason to be angry about something

go eat another bull penis
No I switched my question to a hypothetical because I wasn’t there the whole time and so maybe that part was taken out of context and the pitch was prepared the same way on both sides. Fine. obviously I couldn’t tell you for sure what happened in this case. Also, I’m not angry at all. But surely we should have some idea of where people stand on an issue or we are just going to talk past each other.
