Whatever it takes!!!
Team 3 has all lefties. You can balance between Team 2 and 3 better I feel.
Did not even consider this in the slightest. That is a good observation.Team 3 has all lefties. You can balance between Team 2 and 3 better I feel.
Its my OCD about cricket line-ups. Like to have lefties and righties alternate.Did not even consider this in the slightest. That is a good observation.
I do too if I can manage. Just this time I was just thinking about draft orders and team compositions of batting and bowling, and lost sight of the whole handedness thing. Ultimately it's not the biggest effect in the world, I don't think. Its my OCD about cricket line-ups. Like to have lefties and righties alternate.

Made this side, with the following restriction: debut 1970 or later, with 1 wildcard (no Bradman), and only inactive players. What could be an alternate side (even one that includes active players) that would play this side tough?
Obvious players are Steve Smith, Tendulkar, Marshall, Warne, Gilchrist, one or more of Imran and Hadlee. But not sure how to fill out the openers or remainder of the side, anyone want to give it a go? Match would be played in modern conditions, with helmets and all that, for what it's worth.

Nah you have a wildcard, which I used for Sobers in the initial construction, so you could use it for Boycott if you want. Also, no Steve Smith?Oops Boycott not eligible
What I really like about this team is, that you could have gone for an Ambrose or Steyn or Lillee, Waqar, etc. in place of Wasim Akram, but you decided "**** it, this team's batting down to 11". I approve.Gordon Greenidge
