Australia couldn't beat a poor England team in 2019, not sure how they win against a much improved version, especially with so many OLD duffers in the team. Other than scraping a 1-0 win in Pakistan (which has been proved since to be no great challenge) we have little away form to go on. Don't see how they win in India.

Bazball crap worked against NZ who has medium pace trundlers and Pakistan who has no trundlers but not much bazballing happened against South Africa which has a proper attack. Australia is every bit the attack SA is with far superior batting. They will crash and burn

I have Australia as slight favorites the same as I have India as slight favorites for this series.

But a lot of it will be down to momentum and who gets the early advantage which can easily swing the other way.

Yes and they lost to an utterly incompetent SA batting lineup the one time they got their act together in recent times (by an innings, no less). Australia has just as good a bowling lineup (better imo) and a far superior batting lineup. England will capitulate and wilt against that bowling with actual targets being set for them. Their ultra-aggressiveness will come back to bite them.

Australia have 2 superior batsmen in Labu and Smith, but the rest are either about to be put out to paddock or on the merry go round. And the bowlers? Some are becoming very injury prone whilst Boland has barely bowled a ball outside of Australia.

This England side is far superior to 2019, and we can bring Archer back into it too.
