Wow how did you do that ?

Another option is Garner instead of Lillee. His height would add to the attack.
Hadlee, Marshall, Imran, Garner plus Underwood

I have gone through stats : Garner bowled 19 overs per innings and Lillee bowled 23 overs.
Garner had better Strike rate and Average compared to Lillee
Garner did better in Sub Continent
Batting both are almost the same
Garner was the Leading Wicket Taker in 1984 Blackwash with 29 wickets at 18.62 Avg and 1986 Blackwash with 27 Wickets at 16.14 that is crazy

I could have gone with Lillee if there were 3 bowlers. We already have Marshall, Hadlee, Imran so went for Garner as he was considered the most difficult bowler to play in that era and a reliable bowler in all conditions as his height is a major advantage.

I don’t really have an opinion, they’re both outstanding bowlers. Garner more likely than Lillee to accept not opening the bowling so I guess thats a plus.
Can you also tell who will open the bowling and who will be 3rd 4th and 5th bowler ?

Well… you can only have 2 bowlers open, Ideally it would be Hadlee and Marshall. Surely Imran would see the benefit of letting those two open since he is able to reverse it. Garner took over half his wickets bowling first change+ and Marshall took about a third of his. Obviously you’d rather have your two best bowlers (Marshall and Hadlee open) but if Imran’s ego gets in the way he might oust Marshall. (assuming Imran is captain? or was it Border?)

Yeah nice analysis. Anyway Imran has Captaincy responsibilities and He has to do justice to 6th position as a batsmen so for now we will assume he will just take the old ball with Underwood.
