Is david gonna try and play some domestic cricket in AUS after the BBL? Hasn't signed for the ILT20 or SAT20 and I don't think any more comps start up soon. If he was available I feel like a comp would have taken him by now.

Jeez they’ve bowled poorly to David here. Given him so much width. He’s played it really well though tbf to him

Davies has really improved his game vs pace in t20. In his career he averages 45@180 vs spin and 19@130 vs pace but this season those pace numbers are 26@130

Some chance he plays in the couple games left in the 50 over competition (he has played that before, albeit breifly). Not sure he has any real ambition to play Shield cricket though

He strikes me as someone with a high 50 over ceiling. David made 2 fantastic hundreds for surrey at #4 in the Royal one day cup in england a year or so back, and the selectors don't seem to want to give green or inglis a long run at 4. Reckon david could sneak in and take the spot if he puts a few games together for tasmania or whoever hes contracted with.

I love how there’s just been a physical confrontation between two international team mates on the field and none of us gives enough of a **** to even talk about it lol

I don't think he's actually contracted at all. That doesn't mean he can't be picked out of grade cricket of course.

He wasn't contracted, he just got called up from grade cricket because he was there for BBL prep. Didn't get a contract with them this season either - probably couldn't commit to being available for enough of the summer to do it.
Pretty much exactly this.

Would definitely pick him if he was available though
