Bring back Shaun Tait.
04-05 edition Sloon (back when he could sustain the speed for a decent time) would average well under 20 against current domestic batting. He almost did that year anyway, quite something as that was still when the Adelaide Oval pitch was still in the Les Burdett road era

It’d only be expected for his pace to drop over longer formats but he’d fit quite nicely into the crow eaters side. Just wondering if he has the durability for an extended fc run.
One of the problems is that they've been running with a four man attack which you might not really trust him as part of. Manenti and McAndrew have been batting well though so maybe you could move them up to 7 and 8 bring Johnson in for Kelly.

Top and middle order batting looks very patchy, athough that really isn't news to anybody by now. Pretty much had to play Wes to strengthen the tail a bit as he is the only specialist quick (fair to call McAndrew a bowling allrounder by now) who wouldn't be getting major nosebleeds at 9. Although that being said, he has bowled fairly well this season, more consistent of length than the last couple of years

BBL is back baby. Stars got 18 free runs from the roof yesterday and still managed to choke needing 21 from 25 with 7 in the shed, now gilkes reviews the plumbest LBW you'll ever see after the timer runs out and they let him go upstairs anyway lol.

Also Arun giving Fawad Ahmed a spell to get a better fielder on late in the chase.

Got a sore knee mate?

Hell of a catch from faheem. Nice to see ellis amongst the wickets aswell. If the canes can get there batting figured out they could be a dark horse to win the comp.

They make a decent point about Davies’ fielding.

Tbh you’d be loathe to take on anyone who specialises in fielding inside the circle and who’s done so through international youth sides. They’re invariably top shelf

Weird dismissal there for Jewell. Just looks like he played all around that

Sams is such a frustrating cricketer. Can bowl the death, swings the new ball and can genuinely bat and play some amazing innings but can never piece any of it together consistently enough to be anything more than a bits and pieces player.

Jeez there’s been a couple of quality boundary saves this innings by the Thunder already

Why on earth does david keep on trying to run himself and him teammates out. Its been comical the past few games.
I've never seen anything like it in my life.

I can only guess that he's actually had some kind of cricketing philosophical awakening suggesting to him that the risk/reward for taking dodgy singles in T20 is actually a lot lower than most people think, and that he should be attempting heaps more of them as a result. Even if it's true he's failed to take into account the amount of yes/no calls you're going to get if you have a massively different 'judge of a run' to your partner.
