Not quite to World Cup levels yet, but it was pretty satisfying seeing Aberdeen timewaste at 2-1 to the extent that 7 minutes were added on, and go on to lose a 95th minute equaliser and a 97th minute winner.

Time wasting is going to annoy me so much more now that Fifa have implemented a straightforward fix and the FA is just saying ‘nah’.
One thing I wish referees would start enforcing is the rule that injured players are supposed to receive treatment off the pitch. Particularly with the weird cramp that only affects players from smaller teams who are winning or drawing tough away games from the 75th minute on.

This Weekend I am mainly a Notlob supporter, bit dull weekend footballing wise TBH.

So Mason Greenwood was trending in my neck of the twitter woods. The themes were that he is the greatest thing to happen to Man United, his banishment is the only reason Manure wasted money on the supposedly one legged wonder called Antony and somehow when he returns Greenwood is fated to receive the no. 7 shirt as it his his destiny

Who sponsors these things?

Wondering whether @GIMH went along to the Tranmere/Sutton match today. Sounds like Sutton put up a better performance at your place than at Gander Green Lane.

Aye. Don’t think Sutton could have complained had they left empty handed but after their equaliser it was always heading for a draw and in fact they nearly nicked it at the end. Big and tough outfit.

The Salah goal standing is okay but I can’t find a reason for the wolves goal being disallowed

Supposedly it was given because the corner taker was offside off-camera when the ball was played back out to him. Twitter has some angles suggesting he was miles onside, and Trent was basically on his own goal line right in front of the linesman so idk how he gave it.

Looks like awful officiating but whatever, I’m fine with Liverpool having another game to play.

Cardiff Leeds quite good fun, and a draw isn't good for either set of scummy fans in the long run, so all good.

Well, we tried our best. Stevenage just a bit too strong in the end.
If its any consolation, my lot have made an even worse return since the break for the WC. Before the break, Palace could barely muster a point away from home but beat the lower placed teams at Selhurst Park. Now, we've been absolutely shocking at home to Fulham (0-3) and Tottenham (0-4) before the weekend loss to what had previously looked a pretty feeble Southampton side. Vieira needs to turn it around and probably make a couple of decent signings this month or we'll find ourselves in the bottom three before long.
