Would have played about three Tests if he was English
Okay but even in jest if there's one team he would hack, it's England given the absolute dross that got picked post Strauss and especially Cook

Chubb

International Regular
If you want someone to quickly break an opposition’s spirit after bowling them out cheaply or belt a hundred on a flat deck, there are few better at it than Warner. But that doesn’t make him a great batsman. He is a home track bully and a very good one but that’s all he is, really.

The misery of County cricket wibbly wobbly bowlers swinging it around corners as they trundle in would've had him retire before Test debut
Or he just would have grown up in those conditions playing it a fraction later and dominated.

As with every one of these speculations though, he almost certainly wouldn't have developed into the same player if he was exposed to those conditions rather than Australian conditions

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
Athlai has it right. He’d have floundered in Division Two, hitting the occasional quick 50 from lower down the order. Not a chance he’d open in England as he doesn’t have the, you know, skills.

The irony of Uhlmann of all people interviewing him, given he’d been on a ticket for ACT politics for some minor religious Party with Paul Osborn, former Raiders front rower
