Yeah Thornton has been amazing, except that last over he went for 18, and Matt Short's bowling success has been a big surprise, been excellent.

Hardie is class. Think he can push a white-ball spot for australia if he keeps his beginning of bbl form up for the rest of the comp.

Mitch Marsh and Cam Green out make a difference

when you consider that from the WA squad they also lose Philippe, Short, Cartwright & Stoinis to other BBL clubs it makes you wonder how Hobson is getting a game

edit: You'd think Whiteman & Bancroft would be better than Lyth or Hobson tbh

I was wondering the same thing, eskanazi is gun, and he has a funny name. Would be far better than hobson.

When the Scorchers were winning BBLs for fun one of their main advantages was keeping all the WA players over there. They would only have 1 overseas player and had bench strength stronger than some of the other regular sides.

Can't help but wonder why that's changed and if Langer had anything to do with it
