Averages around 45 iirccan't think if a team off my head but root surely a bit hard done by there? i know that ingerlund benefit from test match spam but it feels like he's piled mountains on this year
He randomly tanked in the recent 3 Tests against Pakistan in the friendliest batting conditions he faced all year.can't think if a team off my head but root surely a bit hard done by there? i know that ingerlund benefit from test match spam but it feels like he's piled mountains on this year
Possibly a case of him suffering from English spam here. He was in sublime form V NZ and India. Less so in the two series since.can't think if a team off my head but root surely a bit hard done by there? i know that ingerlund benefit from test match spam but it feels like he's piled mountains on this year
In 2013 you’re presumably picking Sanga and Kallis. Maybe Smith as well but he’d only just got back into the team iirc. Don’t remember when KW kicked up exactly.Assuming most of the people agree with this Team , when was the last time none of the FAB4 couldn’t make 11 of a particular year ?
2011or 2012 ?
Checking, 2013 had Taylor, De Villiers and Pujara all averaging 70+.In 2013 you’re presumably picking Sanga and Kallis. Maybe Smith as well but he’d only just got back into the team iirc. Don’t remember when KW kicked up exactly.
By 2014 there’s no argument for leaving all of them out.
When was Clarke’s godly year, was that 2012?Checking, 2013 had Taylor, De Villiers and Pujara all averaging 70+.
2014 very much the coming of the Fab Four era though.
Chandimal and Brathwaite are both very unlucky to miss out.Khwaja
Shafique
Babar Azam
Daryl Mitchell
Bairstow

Stokes (C)
Jansen
Rabada
Lyon

12th Man : Cummins
i think this might be it yeahPossibly a case of him suffering from English spam here. He was in sublime form V NZ and India. Less so in the two series since.
More than 70 actually, although Chandimal averaged more than 100.but now on notice of mitchell having averaged more than 60 i would have to return to my grotto and consider the point more
This doesn't really make sense unless you're assuming that the bonus "spam" matches are the ones he struggled in and not the ones he did well in. You could just as well say that he's benefited from it than suffered from it.Possibly a case of him suffering from English spam here. He was in sublime form V NZ and India. You're definitely not picking Smith in 2013In 2013 you’re presumably picking Sanga and Kallis. Maybe Smith as well but he’d only just got back into the team iirc. Don’t remember when KW kicked up exactly.

Yeah, I think his average will drop rapidly due to the new Bazball approach. Someone should probably tell him to just bat normally lol.Root has tried to reinvent himself when he was the only one that didn’t need to.
