Axar wasn't a nightwatchman I think. They legit just wanted a left hander out there.
If anything the form he's in, Kohli's done a great job as nightwatchman to Iyer.

Very nicely poised indeed, India though still with a few guns to call upon, Pants wicket will be vital to snare early given how quickly he scores, any time
out there he'll tend to quickly chew off the deficit. Axar also needs to be tamed quicker rather than later.

Kohli is likely to get dropped very soon the way things are going.
I actually don't think this Indian team will beat Australia next year. Aussies want to avenge for 2 series defeats at home so they going to give it their all to win and this team is so fragile at the moment that they can't stop them. Probably need a mini miracle.
