Finch wasn't in the best form but Russell, Hosein and Sutherland's pinch hit allowed him to be scrappy and play the anchor which turned out fine in the end. He was still good enough to carve though and its the 2nd time he's guided the gades home. I'd be more worried about Jono Wells. I've liked him but when I saw him turn out for the gades this year was underwhelmed. Get the impression he's on the wane and not the best signing.

Nah he just flicks/slides them out the end of the fingers. Doesn’t roll the wrist over like a conventional leggie.

I've never seen him turn one the other way but these guys keep coming in and playing for it. How does this happen in this day and age with all the technology and coaches? Maybe they are preparing for it properly but just having brain fades out in the middle because his action is confusing them and they're falling into muscle memory . . . that's the best I can come up with
