This is the olde adage that Asian batsmen are susceptible to part-time spin, which I've never fully accepted either. Presumably we'll see Jimmy and Robinson after tea. Maybe even Stokes.

Think it was more about keeping the pace attack fresh than anything else tbh with the runs we have to play with. Digging a wicket out would have been a bonus.

True, but Leach could have been bowling at one end. And it does seem odd that Stokes hasn't turned his arm at all. Anyway, apparently Anderson, Robinson have yet to return to the field after tea, which is a worry.

Is it me or is the morning session the time to get wickets and then batting gets much easier as the day goes on. Might need to wait till tomorrow to get into them.
