Root hasn't looked like taking a wicket here (and leach not much better) and yet Robinson hasn't bowled and Anderson just 2 overs (and 1 wicket).

You'd think they must have had that conversation with Moeen. No 2nd spinner was always the really strange one. They must have really wanted Moeen to come back.
Wood's extra pace would be handy with old reversing ball.Bazball doesn't quite yet seemed to have worked out team selection. 1st test on a flat one picking only 3 frontline bowlers - helped out by Foakes going down ill with jacks coming in. 2nd test picking an extra seamer on a slow turner. No 2nd spinner of note in squad.
YesHas anyone said Abrarcadabra yet
Who would you replace him with? Leach isn't Shane Warne but he's the only proper spinner England have.Their spinners take a 10 wickets our spinner takes one and hardly troubles the batsmen .when will we replace leach with a proper spinner
It might also mean that England were going for their shots a lot more than Pakistan...Leach has looked very good tbh. I'm not sure one team's spinners taking all 10 wickets is indicative of much, it could just mean that the pace bowlers sucked which they did for Pakistan.
A year ago I'd have said Parkinson should be on this tour and bowling alongside Leach. But he looked very innocuous in his Test this Summer and I imagine the setup believes he's just too slow to be a constant threat at this level. Ironically he'd probably bowl ok at this England team given they're so aggressive but a side that doesn't take chances could just milk him. I think they may have to risk Rehan Ahmed in the last game tbh.Who would you replace him with? Leach isn't Shane Warne but he's the only proper spinner England have.
