I have theory here that may apply for Bumrah's case as well. Cricketers and specifically fast bowlers today are too much into weight training, they have great explosive strength but lack in flexibility/endurance. Bowlers from the past never got injured this frequently and Chahar doesn't even bowl at 90 mph to have a valid reason for getting injured.
Bumrah's is his action. There's no need to overthink his case.

The others, yeah

Whatever it takes!!!
Deepak Chahar is esp. into flaunting his body based on his SM, so I guess there is some truth. Cummins mentioned this as well, that strengthening core and then maintaining flexibility was the key as a bowler and not all the weight and shape training which others who are into body building and stuff may do.

In fact, I think quite a lot of this side wanted to do that. Washy as well seems fond of it. They are more interested in having fitness cover magazine bodies than actually fit for cricket bodies, I guess.

cant believe people here think chahar's fitness is worrying. i dont give a rats ass about his fitness. he is an above average bowler who cant bowl 6 good balls at the back end of the game. find a genuine good swing bowler who is consistent. throw away the average and below average folks. let them rot in ranji and other ****. they have the ipl to fall back on for money. the entire team needs an overhaul- the domestic circuit needs a overhaul- find good bowlers that are international worthy. chahar filth is there primarily because he is a batting all rounder not as a genuine front line pacer. daryl mitchell had more impact as a part time bowler than deepak chahar in the recent NZ vs Ind series.

I do feel India does need some changes , from the outside it appears that the national team is on cruise control just waiting for Rohit, Dhawan , Kohli , Ashwin , Jadeja etc to retire .

things are bad but the way this emo kid talks up you would think this Indian team is the equivalent of America in basketball in the olympics and should be winning everything everytime
100% confirmed you pulled that out from your ass. a simple google search would have helped - wonder who let you near a computer-

" The United States is by far the most successful country in Olympic basketball, with United States men's teams having won 16 of 19 tournaments in which they participated, including seven consecutive titles from 1936 through 1968. "

there go eat a shoe. lets see you tell the same crap about India in cricket.

you can yank your weiner all you want every game india wins but fact is its never ever been dominant. if you are a true indian supporter you would be going for pitchforks at selectors and the rest of the cretin and yet here you are trying to feel good even when Indian cricket has stooped to a new low by its own standards.

I never said India needs to win all the time. I said given everything that India has got and the complete focus on a singular sport. there should have been several dominant periods in the decades since cricket was popularized. For example- we should have the highest worldcup tally/ ICC event tally.

looks like this is devolving into teaching a dyslexic homo.. America hasn't won everything like you think im telling the same about India. they have won the majority and basketball is not even the most popular- India is supposed to do the same. so pull your head from your ass and start thinking instead of teabagging your kind here. i'm still waiting for your answer to my point about India dumdum.

school didn’t fail him, his parents did. all of the references to other posters with maternal and paternal figures and the degenerate posting reflects a neglected childhood. I feel sorry for the dude

girish, boss, what scenes? Why so agitated all the time? I know, I get it, I've been there once upon a long time past; ppl not seeing things the way you want them to be seen can drive one up the wall but in the long run, persisting with that level of adversarial-ity can ruin your quality of life and mental health. Sure, good stuff, even stuff of fire, can come from it, provided you know how to channel it, but bickering over ****all on cricket forums isn't quite cutting it. Sincere advice from an uncle, sun le.

Amazing how bad Ishan looks with his current technique. So cramped and cuts out so many stroke options. Pant is a bit similar esp. in LO cricket. WE need to figure out what our keeper's role needs to be across formats.

Dhawan was unlucky. Think it was definitely bat and pad together but he deserves to be out for playing that ball that poorly.
