With a better all rounder in top 6 I will almost definitely go with Kapil, but Richards and Tendulkar are the only 6th bowlers here and they don't impress me a huge deal so Pollock.

The reassuring thing about having Tendulkar as an opener is that he is not confined to the aggressor or anchor role, his partnership with both Ganguly and Sehwag went pretty well for India so at least to me it's not very important what the nature of the other batsman is - he just needs to be a good one and I think Lara fits that role pretty well. (So would have any of the other names mentioned but how can you not have Tendulkar-Lara ffs)

Richards had better team especially bowling options. If Dhoni had as good bowlers as Richards then he would have over 70% win rate.

No in fact three of Dhoni’s best years were when he had just been given captaincy: 2007,2008,2009. His record from 2007-2014 is also pretty good.
