Going off the other thread, just think it's better to do voting based on each batting position and see what lineup we end with.

So let's begin voting with a more obvious opener number one. State your selection.

Start with the easier votes - one opener (done) 3-4-5

opening seamers (not batting order)

then 3rd seamer and spinner

Last of all
other opener, plus 6 & 7 - one of whom probably needs to a keeper, and another a bowler (probably, but not definitely 5th).

So with the first spot going to Tendulkar, let us just jump to our selections for top/middle order at 3, 4 and 5. Please give your selections in your ideal order.

I think posters are more hard set on their opener selections already and I am leaving spots 6 and 7 to the end as they have the most variability based on the rest of the lineup.
I'm not. I voted Gilly and would have Symonds and Klusener at 6 & 7 to have 6 decent bowling options. If Gilly misses out to Rohit or Greenidge, I would have rather voted for Watson/Jayasuriya as my 2nd opener so there would still be 6 decent bowlers (assuming Dhoni then gets the vote at 6).
