Also, Chahal needs to show "something" to justify the regular opportunities he gets, this pitch is offering enough grip for the spinners and Sundar's steady offies have looked way more effective than Chahal's leggies. Sundar also bowled in the power play while Chahal has bowled in the middle overs as usual. Hopefully he makes me eat my words and does something good in his remaining quota of overs.

He started looking same old with 5 off 15 or something, but since then he's actually been playing pretty fluently.

Got his pace wrong for most of the innings, Looked far more dangerous when he was slowing it down and giving it some air.

To be fair though, Lord should not play as the new ball bowler. If that is the role open in the side, Deepak Chahar is a far better bet.

I would play both though. And avoid playing 3 #11s.
