Yeah. But what's still baffling is Australia have gone unbeaten at GABBA for 32 years and then lost to that other side.Any side will come up short against that 1988 team.
NEVER.We have never spoken about Brisbane 2021, have we?
In isolation, yes. In the context of the series, not reallyYeah. But what's still baffling is Australia have gone unbeaten at GABBA for 32 years and then lost to that other side.
It was baffling. @silentstriker called it the worst Indian team he'd ever seen in the thread at the toss. No one gave them a chance. In isolation, yes. In the context of the series, not really
Not if India sends their F teamAny side will come up short against that 1988 team.
Even now, on paper it looks substandard. Batting and bowlingIt was baffling. @silentstriker called it the worst Indian team he'd ever seen in the thread at the toss. No one gave them a chance.
Got a better chance than most of his other competition, since he actually has some Test experience along with his India A record. Will Saini ever play for India again?
We've never seen these two play against each other though.Any side will come up short against that 1988 team.
It was baffling if you forgot that Australia lost in Melbourne with brittle batting and had failed to defeat a weakened Indian side in Sydney. It was also baffling if you engaged in a ton of exaggeration as to how bad the Indian team was relative to the Australian one, something a lot of the Indian posters did at the time and apparently still continue to do. It was not baffling when you saw how the two sides actually performed, especially in the previous match. It was baffling. @silentstriker called it the worst Indian team he'd ever seen in the thread at the toss. We should speak about it more so people get salty about us speaking about it too much. It was fun the last time that happened. We have never spoken about Brisbane 2021, have we?
The Indian bowling lineup that test basically didn't have any of the guys who'd made the series competitive though (except Siraj). It was baffling if you forgot that Australia lost in Melbourne with brittle batting and had failed to defeat a weakened Indian side in Sydney. The combined number of tests that the 5 man bowling attack played prior to Brisbane was a grand total of FOUR test matches. The Indian bowling lineup that test basically didn't have any of the guys who'd made the series competitive though (except Siraj).

Would've been the WTC lineup lol.Yeah.
We lost before series: Ishant
We lost after Adelaide: Kohli, Shami
We lost after Melbourne: Umesh
We lost after Sydney: Bumrah, Ashwin, Jadeja, Vihari.
At least 6 out of those 8 would have played at Brisbane if they were available.
