Sangha could also play his way into the team if he has another good bbl before the WC. Shame that he injured himself and missed the marsh cup games NSW have played.

Taking Mrs Burgey's soap-dodging colleague to the game today. He's just flown in from the UK this morning and a bit of a cricket nut by all reports. The thought of eight hours at the cricket with a Pommy fan really has me on the cusp of tedium here, I can tell you.

Don't know why we've tested green here tbh, he's played 2 games of LOI cricket in the past 45 days. If where that worried about his workload just bin marnus and play green at 4 as a specialist bat.

The fact that moeen can captain the england side after playing 100 games for a batting average of 25 and a bowling average of 50 is astounding to me.

Not sure how much the skills have improved but modern cricketers must be a hell of a lot better at resting

Depressing to see such low energy in an Aus-Eng series in any format. **** all atmosphere at the ground, and a website full of cricket nuffies basically with nowt to say. Sad.

the issue is with ODI cricket generally. competing against itself(the spinoff being the highly successful T20) - with the middle overs being very boring.

In summary they should scrap the ODI, and put more test matches on in its place(keeping T20s the same).
