Must say I have been pleasantly surprised with how McSweeney has gone in 50 over cricket so far this year, always had him marked down as someone who could stick around but struggle to really increase the tempo in his batting, definitely seemed more aggressive, especially against spin

Yeah I think he's actually really competent in this format - can bowl ten overs of pies for not much damage if necessary too - which will probably mean he gets delisted and dropped next year after failing in the Shield all summer.
