Yeah Cummins definitely has good enough base T20 skills to justify a place in the side, but only if he's going to be playing it regularly. Forgoing the IPL - as good a decision as it is - means he shouldn't really be considered.

CA should make sure they actually keep paying players who do this appropriately though, especially when the format they're forgoing is T20. The current thinking basically incentivises players to make bad decisions and become worse.

Real shame about the weather coming over all Tasmanian there, as much as I usually don't think much of #intent declarations, the game was really interestingly poised. Tasmania getting a few more quick runs early and having then most of the day to go at this somewhat patchy NSW batting lineup would have been good viewing, unfortunately rain decided otherwise


As opposed to in Perth, where absolutely nothing of note or interest happened at all. Not a thing

He looks good when he's hitting it cleanly, and today he was certainly looking the part with an unbeaten 41 off 29.
But come big bash and he may well be rubbish again, just doesn't seem to find any consistency, his numbers are terrible.
