India wish they've never seen a batsman like Rahul or Rohit.
all this talk about batting- I'm saying bowling has been more rubbish since we started playing this game and will continue to be that way. we have had garbage batsmen through the years this semi included. a 170 with a bowling attack of pak would be a different story (even if they had lost they would have faced difficulties getting there). we need to axe the bowling unit as well- build a team around shami and bumrah, chuck out the rusty bhuvi, zero talent chahal, ashwin, axar. just look at our bowling through the years- venkatesh prasad, srinath, nehra,ishant sharma, rp singh etc. and now bhuvi. these names do not exactly instill fear lol.

Bro India can build a good bowling lineup with Bumrah and Arshdeep for sure just need to find the 3rd seamer and good spinner option maybe even Kuldeep back in the team.
again- kuldeep is bound to become a failure again just like he was - need some fresh blood some unfazed when getting tonked. someone in the mould of zampa. a wrist spinner. for the third seamer give natarajan a chance, umran malick a chance.

He wasn’t even charged with assault because he had almost nothing to do with it apart from trying to pull Stokes back. It was Stokes who was put on trial.

Even Justin Trudeau was called out for black face and that guy is as progressive as it comes. He did a Bhangra dance when he went to India. Black face certainly doesn’t mean that someone is racist or trying to be offensive.

The difference in Axar Patel's effectiveness in Test/T20 is incredibly stark
Eighteen months ago he's ripping it square at 95-100ks and completely dismantling England in SENA conditions. The irony was that plenty of his wicket taking balls didn't spin.
Here he looks like a slow medium pacer with no craft and guile who batsman can easily milk. Just staggered at how defensively he bowled

Ashwin can barely get the ball to grip in these conditions he hardly any better in the 20 20 version

It’s weird that players can be so bad at the top level of a sport but at the same time be really good at a different top level of the same sport. Strange game.

Agreed but it's not that unusual either......to say dont overestimate Butler in T20 cos he's **** at tests is well, right up there with slippy nonsensical posting.
Edit: without checking id reckon Hales test credentials are even worse than Butlers.....just as well India didn't overestimate the both of them.
